Accessibility

At Ayurveda Village, we want our guests and clients to feel the benefit of our treatments, retreats and the stunning landscape surrounding our built spaces.

We want you to feel comfortable, supported and included, regardless of your ability, background, sexuality or age.

Since Ayurveda Village is a small and private retreat, your stay can be as safe as possible, including immune compromised guests.  Our retreat offers accommodation for up to four people at a time, plus our qualified staff. In between bookings, Ayurveda Village is carefully cleaned, and common spaces are located in open plan living settings, fresh air and gardens.

Seasons

Ayurveda Village is located in the heart of Adelaide Hills. We’re 20 minutes from Adelaide’s cbd and offer temperate weather most of the year round. We want our guests to keep in mind that temperatures can be cold particularly in the winter months. Warmer months are typically a dry heat. Our retreat facilities offer reverse cycle air conditioning as well as a wood fire in our Meditation Room. We encourage guests to check weather reports before their arrival or checking in with us.

Increasing Accessibility

We are working to increase accessibility in the following ways.

  • Customise each experience for guests with access needs; including the arrangement of rooms and accommodation of adaptive equipment where possible.
  • Offer an Accessibility Request service to help you book with confidence.
  • Incorporating accessibility into our booking system.
  • Provide ongoing accessibility training for our staff.
  • Modified our retreat to include accessible features including additional accessible pathways, toilets, bathrooms, and ramp access.
  • Integrated accessibility into our policies and practices.

Accessibility Limitations

Due to the undulating landscape of the natural environment surrounding Ayurveda Village, it can be hard to make every part as accessible. As part of our expansion and infrastructure developments we are working hard to improve accessibility throughout Ayurveda Village, including:

  • Areas throughout Ayurveda Village are not fully wheelchair accessible, including gravel walking trails and some areas of the accommodation.
  • We do not have a continuous path of travel throughout Ayurveda Village.
  • At the moment, we do not have an accessible toilet on site.

We value your feedback

Ayurveda Village is committed to offering a more accessible and inclusive experience for all clients.

Please help us to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Contact us to share your thoughts and ideas. If you have any accessibility requirements, we will do our best to support you to have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
